Privacy Policy

When you design and order custom socks, we collect only what we need to do the work:

• Design information — the sock style, customization method, colours, logo placement, sizes and quantities you select, plus the artwork and text you add to each view.
• Uploaded artwork files — the image files you upload for your design.
• Contact information — your name, email address, phone number, and your company or team name.
• Shipping information — the delivery address and any delivery instructions you provide.
• Order and quote information — your design reference, quantities, quote records, approvals and any order notes you write.
• Commerce references — where an order is paid, the order reference, payment status, amount and currency reported back to us by the payment platform.

We do not ask for and do not want government identification numbers, dates of birth, bank account details or payment card numbers.

Each category supports a specific part of producing your order:

• To build, preview and approve your design.
• To prepare production proofs and manufacture the product.
• To prepare and issue quotes, and to record your acceptance.
• To process and fulfil orders, and to ship them to you.
• To communicate with you about your design, quote, order or delivery.
• To keep the business records that a manufacturing order normally requires.

Uploaded artwork, design data and production proofs are stored in private storage. They are not published, not indexed and not accessible from a public link. Access is granted through short-lived, individually generated links issued only to authorised UET staff or to you through your own design or quote link.

Uploaded files are validated on our servers before they are stored, and SVG files are stripped of any active content.

Payment is completed on the payment platform's own secure checkout, not on this application. UET does not collect, transmit or store your card number, expiry date or security code. We receive only the order reference, payment status, amount and currency that the payment platform reports back to us.

We use third-party providers to run the platform, including cloud hosting and database services, private file storage, and the checkout and payment platform. Providers receive only the information they need to deliver their service to UET.

The platform technology itself is provided to UET by ALRV Technologies.

Access to customer records in our administration tools is restricted to authorised UET staff, is checked on our servers on every request, and is limited by role and by individual permission. Administrative actions are recorded in an internal activity log. Design files sit in private storage behind time-limited access links, and all traffic to the platform is encrypted in transit.

No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We describe the measures we actually operate and make no absolute security claims.

We keep design, quote and order records for as long as needed to service your order and to maintain legitimate business records. UET reviews and sets retention periods for each category of information; where no period has been approved, records are retained rather than automatically deleted.

You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information that is no longer required for a legitimate business or record-keeping purpose. Requests are reviewed and handled by UET. Some transaction records may need to be retained even after a deletion request.
